Zimnat General Insurance Donates to Manicaland Bus Disaster Victims and Supports School Rebuild

Zimnat General Insurance Extends Support to Families of Manicaland Bus Disaster Victims

In a gesture of solidarity, Zimnat General Insurance donated food hampers to the families of the eight victims who died in the Manicaland bus disaster on June 16, 2024. The Anglican Diocese of Manicaland will distribute the hampers.

The donation ceremony coincided with the handover of a refurbished classroom block to St. Francis Pimai Primary School, which was damaged by Cyclone Idai in March 2024.

“At Zimnat, we believe in the power of community and standing together during challenging times,” said Isaac Zinhanga, Zimnat’s Business Development Executive. “Our hearts go out to the families affected by the bus disaster, and we hope our gesture provides some comfort and relief.”

The event highlighted Zimnat’s commitment to community support and development in Zimbabwe.

Zimnat‘s support is more than just a donation; it’s a demonstration of solidarity and compassion,” said Reverend Samutereko, Secretary of the Anglican Diocese of Manicaland. “We are thankful for their assistance. Acts of kindness like these help us heal and rebuild as a community.”

Zimnat General Insurance‘s efforts in Manicaland reflect their broader mission to uplift communities across Zimbabwe. Their involvement exemplifies their holistic approach to corporate social investment.
